PUMA wants to know what you are most looking forward to with the upcoming release of Forza Motorsport 3, and what your expectations for the game will be. We will reward the most interesting answer with an Xbox 360 and a copy of Forza Motorsport 3, 9 runners up will receive a copy of the game. This competition is now closed and winners will be notified shortly.
It is myopic to limit expectations to simply gameplay. My expectation of Forza Motorsport 3 is multi-faceted.
From the perspective of the developer, commercial success will be defined by the obvious such as sales (e.g. sales revenue, advertising revenue, partner revenue, unit volume) and business relationship/development (e.g. satisfaction of car manufacturers, track sites, third party sponsors, technical resources, etc.). Excellent reviews and award-type recognition from the gaming community and gaming media will certainly be expected as well.
From the perspective of the in-game partners (i.e. car manufacturers, track sites, third-party sponsors and advertisers, etc.), success will be defined by exceeding their minimum return-on-investment and positive impact on their brand. Essentially, a minimum value-added (to their brand) is expected.
From the perspective of the gamer, the passing of time tends to satisfy most technical expectations (i.e. improved car physics, photorealistic graphics, multi-player experience, car and track modeling advancements, gameplay interfaces, input devices such as a clutch pedal, sim-pods, etc.). Simply put, successive game generations are expected to be significantly improved over previous generations. But the foregoing collectively contribute to an attribute which can be expressed in one word: “Immersion”. From the casual racing enthusiast to the most serious simulation racer, expectations such as fun-factor, realism, multi-player experience, ancillary activities (i.e. auction house and storefronts for tuning and livery) collectively contribute to the “stickiness” and game life of Forza 3. And this is defined by how immersive the gamer is in whatever he/she enjoys doing.
Any racing game with an Italien title has to be good. Forza 3 looks like an exceptional game with graphics and cars galour. I think currently it is the best racing game on the market. I am really excited about getting behind the wheel of a Ferrari and feeling those true to life physics. Once again, Forza proves that they really know the meaning of the word. Strength! Watch out Gran Turismo, this one’s going to be hard to beat.
The thing I am most looking forward to in Turn 10’s Forza 3 is squashing all challengers that come before me with my personal, non auction bought, hand tuned cars and my incredible sense of friction. My knowledge of racing lines and hands on experience with circuit racing will be the spear of my endeavor. I will be victorious, whether I am passing in the final turn at Catalunya like Rossi did to Lorenzo this year, or completely annihilating the grid. For the record, when I am taking first place in all the hot-lap time trials, I will not be using the rewind function. Even if I do make a mistake, which doesn’t happen often, I will be taking another lap because in real life there is no rewind and people learn from their mistakes. I will earn my place on the leaderboards…

As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in aerodynamics and physics, I can truthfully tell that this game has set the bar very high in the racing simulation world. The high level of detail in the car models is mind blowing, and the sophistication of the physics engine in the game will make the player fell like they are in control of some of the world’s most incredible machines. From the sophisticated air drag coefficient, to body roll, to tire deformation during a sharp turn; these are just some of the incredible realistic simulations that will make this game an incredible experience for anyone who has a passion for driving beautiful cars.
for me it’s gonna be the best game ever made by all times , because when it’s a puma and motorsport corporation this is what we call it a real game … realy we can’t wait anymore
Forza Motorsport 3 will be the greatest racing game ever created!!! I have played the demo version, and the attention to detail almost made me teary-eyed. I’m a mechanic, racing enthusiast and all round car lover. I KNOW QUALITY WHEN I SEE IT!!! The previous Forza titles never failed to deliver fantastic realism and in-depth customization. I expect no less than perfection from Forza 3.
Bottomline, if you are passionate about cars, this game will leave you breathless. Over 400 true-to-life cars! YES!! YES!! YES!!
I’m really impatient to test the game… My first expectation is to have the most realistic driving experience.
If the car in the game reacts the same way the real one does, then you have a very good racing simulation game.
The graphics are really sumptuous, the cars look perfect. So you have a near to perfect racing game…
And what I really appreciate above all that is the PUMA adverises ! Now, that is the perfect racing game

I am interested in Turn 10’s Forza series to give me the outstanding ability to link me with the intense spirit of driving!
I expect the game to be in the first place exciting. The AI drivers should be as “real” as it can get. I would like to “feel” the speed, the mountain roads should have little bumps in it just to increase the feeling of reality. To conclude the most important for me is the AI.
Oh, come on, this can’t be a game. It’s real, real cars, real environment. ) Beside the joke, it has astonishing graphics, cars look better then in real life. The environment, the tracks, the physics are so real… it’s amazing. I can’t stop watching it’s trailer, I’m speechless…
I have been an avid player of the Forza Motorsports series since FM1, and have watched the game evolve into a truly amazing franchise. I expect FM3 to not only be the best racing game to hit the streets in years, but also to set the benchmark higher when it comes to physics and user generated content in a racing game. I am really looking forward to taking a spin around Sarthe in a Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa. Viva Forza!!!!

Isn’t this a real life game?? Everything looks so realistic!! Especially once you hook up a steering wheel with force feedback you might think you are driving the real racing car!!!!
