Quebec To Toronto
I thought NYPD were into themselves, but now I know, the Canadian Provincial Police take the cake. These guys take their jobs more seriously then I thought possible. I think there’s just not a lot going on between Quebec and Toronto. That, or Candian citizens are just really well behaved. We literally had a police escort from the moment we left Quebec City and got on the highway. Two highway patrol in back and two in front.
The most entertaining part of the drive was exiting the freeway in rapid succession, as we attempted to lose them. Third time was the charm and we headed off-route up to Ottawa with Jo from Rogue Status for lunch in his hometown.
After lunch we headed out burnin’ smoke and rubber to the delight of Ontario’s street crowds. A mere 15 minutes outside of town the Provincials nabbed us for being “off the established route”… Wish someone had told us we were only allowed on one Canadian road… They took pity and no tickets were given, but demanded we head directly to Toronto without passing Go and without collecting our $200. 12 hours total on the road and we made it to the big-T.
